New York Baseline Specification Review

Project Specification Data Collection

We're collecting affordable housing project specifications for our baseline data study. If your projects qualify, please share your project info below and we will contact you to collect additional documentation.

We are currently seeking project specifications for New York.

Anonymity: The data will be collected and aggregated without direct association to any owner, architect, contractor, project, etc. Projects and project teams will remain anonymous.

Recent Projects: Required that projects completed construction or rehab in 2014, 2015, or 2016.

Material Focus: Data collection is focused on products used in the following 7 categories: Drywall, Thermal Insulation, Interior Paint, Flooring, Cabinets, Countertops, and Doors/Millwork. Accessory products such as adhesives, drywall mud, etc. are also included.

Variety: We are looking for a variety of affordable housing projects. New Construction and Rehabilitation; Urban/Suburban/Rural; Mixed income and 100% affordable; owned/developed by non-profit, for-profit, or public; Multi-family and Single Family/Townhome; rental and homeownership; varied target populations: senior, family, homeless, singles, etc.

Multiple Submittals: If you have projects of different varieties, per above, please feel free to submit multiple projects.

Typical Products: For this collection, we are seeking typical products specified, not materials used for projects seeking advanced environmental certifications. For now, we are establishing the common baseline. It is fine if there are products that happen to be healthier as part of your typical specifications. We want to get a good handle on what products are most used by aggregating typical project data.
